A colored lithograph on paper after artist John Gould, titled Falco Gyrfalco. This print depicts a pair of the titular birds perched on a rocky ridge overtaken by moss, as one poses with its back to the viewer while staring onward. To the lower margins is in-plate inscriptions denoting title and artist credit. The print is presented under glass beneath layered matting in a stained and cream wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- minor wear to corners of frame; discoloration and foxing to print.
