An original oil painting on canvas by Jacqueline Saporiti. This minimalist landscape depicts a lone white building with peaked roof in a flat and barren setting. The yellow ground is broken up by soft patches of brick red under a murky grey sky. the work is initialed ‘JS’ in the lower left. It is presented in a weathered black wood frame with a hanging wire mounted to the verso.

Born in Vietnam and raised in France, formally trained painter Jacqueline Saporiti moved to the United States in 1968 and has been based out of Nashville, TN since 1981. Her contemporary Expressionistic inspired work brings an East meets West appeal to her large catalog of landscapes, still lifes, and figure studies.
