An acrylic painting on paper with deckle edges by Vietnamese-born artist Jacqueline Saporiti. This piece depicts three thin vases of varying height, each with a different flower in it, on a black ground. It is painted with textured strokes and initialed in paint to the lower right corner. The piece is mounted behind glass in a black painted wood frame with a fluted cove and gold tone sight edge. There is wire to the verso for hanging.
Born in Vietnam and raised in France, formally trained painter Jacqueline Saporiti moved to the United States in 1968 and has been based out of Nashville, TN since 1981. Her contemporary Expressionistic inspired work brings an East meets West appeal to her large catalog of landscapes, still lifes, and figure studies.
