A collection of oil paintings on loose canvas of men and a fish by Vietnamese-born artist Jacqueline Saporiti. These three pieces are each rendered with a dark reddish palette and depict a catfish dancing men, one of whom appears to play a flute. All three are signed with the artist’s ‘J.S.’ monogram toward their lower right corners and are presented unframed.

Born in Vietnam and raised in the French culture, formally trained painter Jacqueline Saporiti moved to the United States in 1968 and has been based out of Nashville, TN since 1981. Her contemporary Expressionistic inspired work brings an East meets West appeal to her large catalog of landscapes, still lifes, and figure studies.
