1950s Howdy Doody Marionette and 1990s Gene Autry Lunch Box

A vintage Howdy Doody marionette and a commemorative Gene Autry lunch box. Produced circa the 1950s and based on the marionette protagonist of the children’s television program Howdy Doody, this puppet has painted facial features and a moving mouth. Also included is a commemorative metal lunchbox featuring Western entertainer Gene Autry, marked to the interior ‘© The Autry Survivors’ Trust 1995’.

Condition

- puppet missing strings; cracking, scratches and paint loss to head; fraying and minor tears to clothes; rust to belt buckle; discoloration; lunch box in good condition.
