A French provincial style sideboard. This serpentine front amboyna burl and rosewood veneer sideboard has a serpentine moulded top veneered in the center with amboyna burl and inlaid with two large rosewood fleurs de lys with a crossbanded rosewood border. the serpentine front of the sideboard having sets of two drawers, one over the other, on either side of the central doors, the drawers and doors having a central panel of amboyna burl crossbanded in rosewood with the doors having an additional inlaid six armed oval made of diamond match rosewood; the entire case on four cabriole legs. Unmarked.
