An offset lithograph on paper attributed to listed American artist Harry Sternberg (1904 – 2001), titled Invasion of Bayonne: Night of September 21, 1880: The Jersey Central Outflanked. This work, originally created for ‘Fortune,’ depicts a group of men laboring with pick axes and shovels to lay pipes. The piece is unsigned, but printed inscriptions to the lower margins include information about the piece. It includes a certificate of authenticity and is presented unframed in a protective plastic sleeve.
