A finely hand-knotted Tekke Bokhara wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of crimson, indigo, coral, and ivory. The crimson colored field features six rows of latticed elephant’s foot guls along with aina kochak motifs. Framing the field are multiple borders including a main hooked medallion border, along with diamond and soldier patterned borders, as well as Tekke style patterns to the ends. Finishing the rug are overcast selveges and a natural warp twisted fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
