An offset lithograph poster print after a 1906 painting by Leonetto Cappiello (Italian, 1875-1942). This work was originally designed to advertise the Quina liqueur by Maurin. It depicts a green devil opening a bottle, against a dark night sky. It is signed and inscribed in-plate and presented behind glass in a black wooden frame with a paper backing and hanging hardware to the verso.

Condition

- slightly dusty; nicks and scuff marks to frame; surface and edge wear to frame; wear to the verso; edges to paper backing are lifting.
