A pair of intaglio prints of architecture. Included is a carefully-rendered aquatint of a village street corner, signed illegibly in pencil to its lower right corner and matted under glass in a black and gold tone frame. It is accompanied by an etching of Rheims Cathedral, detailed throughout with short thoughtful marks and titled in-plate to its lower left. Rheims Cathedral is matted under glass in a grayish mottled frame and both prints are wired for hanging.
Condition
- fair; backing is somewhat loose on vertically oriented print; light wrinkling; toning to backing and matting; glass could be cleaned more thoroughly.
