A pairing of antique ironstone china including a plate in the Indian Imari pattern by S. Fielding & Company. This plate boasts a transfer floral pattern with hand-decorated accents in red and cobalt, finished with gilt trim. It bears a red underglaze mark with a strikethrough to the base, indicating production between 1880-1917. It is accompanied by a covered sugar bowl in Tea Leaf by Alfred Meakin. This piece features a square body with rounded corners, accented with a pair of molded handles reminiscent of bamboo. It is finished with a brown lusterware leaf and trim. The mark to the base indicates a production date prior to 1897. Also included is a hardstone cluster of grapes with green fruit and carved black leaves. This piece bears no discernible maker’s marks.
