A pair of serigraph prints on paper of decoys after paintings by listed artist Allen Saalburg (1899-1987). These prints depict weathered, wooden decoys of a swan, plover bird, and redhead duck. They are inscribed in-plate and presented behind glass in wooden frames with a paper backing and metal hanging wire to the versos. Affixed to the versos is a label that reads ‘This is a Turner Wall Accessory’.
Condition
- some residue present beneath frame glass; nicks and scuff marks to frame; surface wear to frames; frame joints are somewhat loose; tears and wrinkling to paper backings; frame glass would benefit from cleaning.
