Needlepoint After Norman Rockwell's Saturday Evening Post Cover "Sunset"

Item Details

A needlepoint embroidery. This piece replicates the imagery from Norman Rockwell’s April 24th, 1926 cover illustration for the Saturday Evening Post titled Sunset. It depicts two children seated on a bench and watching the sunset, with the boy resting an arm around the girl’s waist and a puppy on the ground behind them. Normal Rockwell’s name is stitched to the lower right, but it is unsigned by the stitcher. This piece is presented behind glass in a wood frame with wire to the verso for hanging.
