A pair of embellished offset lithograph prints on paper of town scenes after listed Dutch artist Anton Pieck (1895 – 1987), made with layered, cut-out pieces to create a three-dimensional pop-up effect. These works depict figures interacting with each other on a sidewalk and the interior of an antiquated shop. The artist’s name is printed in plate to the lower right. They are presented behind glass in wooden frames with a paper backing and hanging hardware to the versos.
Condition
- residue and minor discoloration to the mat of one; edge and surface wear to frames; wear and tears to paper backing; evidence of water damage and surface stains to the verso of one.
