A mixed media painting on paper of weathered windows by listed artist Jari Havlena (1921 – 2012). This work, rendered in a palette of muted tones is divided into quadrants, each depicting the exterior of a building and a somewhat transparent window. It is signed by hand to the lower right corner and matted in off-white. The painting is presented behind glass in a gilt wood and gesso frame with scrolling acanthus leaf molding. To the verso is a paper backing and metal hanging wire.

Condition

- discoloration to mat; chips to frame; surface and edge wear to frame; wear and tears to paper backing; water damage to the verso.
