A hand-knotted Indian Aubusson style wool area rug. The rug features a floral central medallion in tones of rose, blue, yellow, taupe and peach on a cream ground with a wide blue floral main border, having carved pile accents. The rug finishes with overcast selvages and cream cotton fringe to opposite ends, being marked with an affixed label to the verso reading ‘Hand Knotted in India/100% Wool Pile.’
