An oil painting on wood by artist Rose Marie Sandweg, titled The Hagel Creek. This painting depicts a curling formation of birch trees on a grass hillside, which overlooks a calm brook, autumnal tone trees and a manor to the distance. To the lower left corner of the composition is a painted signature. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame featuring a scalloped edge, moulded detail and a linen liner with a gold tone fillet. To the verso is affixed hanging wire, a typed statement and business card for Sandweg.
