A limited edition reproduction print on paper titled The First Mercy by an anonymous artist. This work depicts a bow view of a large ship with a printed inscription about the ship to the bottom of the print. The piece is signed illegibly in graphite and numbered 423 in an edition of 1000 to the lower right. It is presented behind a gray mat, behind glass, in a black wooden frame with a hanging wire to the verso.
