Antique Ergarte Portuguese Pewter Pitcher

An antique pewter pitcher by Ergarte of Porto, Portugal. This Neoclassical style pitcher features a wide spout and an elongated double scroll handle attached to one side of an elegant, urn-shaped form rising above a round pedestal base. The body is decorated with a bright cut floral motif accented by scrolled trim throughout. It is marked ‘Ergarte Porto 95% Sn’ with an Order of the Christ cross to the underside.
