An antique chromolithograph titled Psyche by listed artist William Sergeant Kendall (American, 1869 – 1938). The Art Nouveau era work depicts the Greek deity, depicted in this work has a winsome girl with long flowing locks, gold draped tunic and diaphanous wings. The piece is displayed in a cream oval mat, under glass in a Nouveau carved wood frame. The work is pencil-signed to the lower right margin and signed to the left. Impressed print mark to the right corner. Wired to the back for wall attachment. Additional information on the artist is included in the enclosed link.
