Item Details
A 19th century original oil landscape on canvas. The painting depicts two boats on a placid river, with a massive rock outcropping to the right background, a flat shore with several trees to the right and sunlit dirt shoreline to the left, with large rocks and grasses to the foreground and trees to the background. The boat to the foreground is moored on the shore, while the other is in midstream in the distance. The painting is displayed in an antique gold leaf on gesso beveled frame with foliate stenciled band to the center.
Condition
painting antique, needs a light cleaning, frame has some damage to gesso
