Chinese Black Lacquer Ware Occasional Tables
Item Details
A pair of Chinese black lacquer ware wooden occasional tables. Each has a hexagon form with bowed legs joined by stretchers. The tables both share a peony motif with carved scroll details to the aprons and legs, while one tabletop has a bird in flight and cherry blossom design, the second a bird perched on a flowering branch. The tables are unmarked by the manufacturer.
Condition
-some dings and blemishes to finish throughout
-both tables would benefit from a cleaning
