Item Details
A pair of oil paintings on canvas and fabric landscapes. Featured is a work by Marc Chapaud (b.1941) depicting a castle. The castle is rendered in dark hues with the castles reflection on the waters below. This piece is singed to the upper left corner. Also included is an Indian depiction of a man and woman sitting on a swing with attendants and peacocks close by, This piece is has a painted floral border and is unsigned. Both works are presented unstretched and unframed.
Condition
- wrinkling to both grounds; tenting occurring throughout the castle image; fraying to the edges of both grounds; discoloration to the verso of the castle painting.
