"Cape Light" Meyerowitz Print

A framed print of a photo that Joel Meyerowitz shot in 1977 while in Provincetown, Massachusetts. The print is titled, ‘Cape Light’. Joel positioned himself at one end of a house’s porch and managed to time his shot perfectly to capture a bolt of lightning over the Atlantic Ocean. One can see soft light protruding from the back of the house. The original photo was published in 1978 in Cape Light: Color Photographs by Joel Meyerowitz. This print was design and released in 1983. Joel, native of New York city, has been a professional photographer since the early 1960s. His work has been shown in the International Center of Photography, the Museum of Modern Art, the New York Public Library and in Chicago his work was received at the Museum of Contemporary Photography.
