Minton "Japonica" and Other Porcelain Serveware Including Haviland
Item Details
A collection of vintage porcelain serveware including MInton and Haviland. The Minton plate is from the Japonica collection and is decorated with a transfer printed pattern of birds and flowers with a gold basketweave border. It features a brass basket style handle with a woven rattan grip and is marked to the underside. A complimentary serving plate has a center handle and similar Asian floral motif and is from Stowell & Co. Also included is a white oval dish with gilt rim and two handles, which is marked ‘CH Fields Haviland Limoges.’ and a pink floral plate with tab handles marked simply ‘Limoges France.’
Condition
- faint surface marks present throughout; light wear to gilding.
