Stained Slag Glass Panel Salvaged from Florida Church

An antique stained slag glass panel in a wood frame. This piece was salvaged from a Florida church that was torn down in the 1960’s to clear room for the construction of Disney World. This panel of dozens of panes of streaked slag glass features multiple design motifs, including curved filigreed ribbons in a peaked arch that rises to the top of the rectangular panel. The work is presented in a white painted wood frame with the grooved sides of an exterior adjustable window.

Condition

- hairline cracks and fractures in multiple colored glass panes; wear to edges of wood frame.
