1897 John & William Deakin Sterling Silver Scallop Shell Dish
Item Details
An antique sterling silver scallop shell dish by John & William Deakin of Sheffield. This dish features a shell shape with a smooth handle and three ball feet. The handle is stamped with the maker’s mark ‘JD WD’ in a shield cartouche, alongside a Sheffield crown mark, lion passant for sterling, and ‘e’ for 1897. The approximate weight is 2.045 ozt.
