An assortment of American history memorabilia. This lot of four items features a two-handled wooden tray decorated with the painting The Death of General Warren at the Battle of Bunker’s Hill, 17 June, 1775 by John Trunbull (American, 1756–1843), and a glass seven-pointed plate with the embossed words ‘We Mourn Our Nation’s Loss’ encircling a portrait of President James Garfield, who was assassinated in 1881. Also included is a 1776 commemorative flag, and a small portrait of George Washington as painted by Gilbert Stuart, mounted on wood with a metal ring hanger.
