An antique circa 18th century oil painting on canvas. This large scale European piece depicts three people; two women and one man, in a darkened room. The male figure and his companion appear to be unconscious while the second woman seemingly mops his brow with a handkerchief. This original work is unsigned and unframed.

Condition

- wear consistent with age.
- some spots of paint loss; specifically to one side of seated woman’s mouth and corners of painting.
- craquelure throughout.
