An oil painting of a woman’s head on wooden board attributed to listed Swedish artist Otto Strandman (1871-1960). This unsigned work depicts a woman with her hair pulled back, her face seen at a three-quarters angle. Her face, though relaxed, is highlighted by arching brows, giving the figure a look of concentration. This piece is mounted in a gold tone frame with a running foliate motif and a wire for hanging. To the upper left corner of the verso is a notation attributing the work to Strandman.

- severe deterioration, color loss and grime to surface of piece; moderate to heavy wear to molded design and finish of frame; wear and staining to verso.
