An oil painting on canvas of a man in a headdress by an artist appearing to sign the work as Melån Tenpenny. This piece depicts a Native American man in a feathered headdress and a leather shirt, his brow furrowed into a serious expression. The colorful painting is signed toward its lower right corner and is mounted in a molded gold tone frame with a textile liner and a wire for hanging. There is a notation of the artist’s name and address to the verso of the piece.
