Regency Style Console Table by Theodore Alexander

Item Details

An English Regency style console from Theodore Alexander. This stately table has flame mahogany veneering on a serpentine shaped top over a lower stretcher shelf connected by a mirror-framed back and is supported by two fluted columns to the front and fluted pilasters to the back. The table has a single center drawer with brass paneled ormolu trim work and pulls. The lower shelf has a pierced brass gallery to the edge. It stands on four tapered round legs terminating with brass caps to the bottom. It is marked with a brass ‘Theodore Alexander’ plaque to the interior of the drawer.
