Limoges, Nippon, and Rosenthal Porcelain Tableware
Item Details
An assortment of porcelain tableware. Included is a handled platter, two teacups, and two saucers by Haviland & Co. Limoges. Each is decorated with pink floral sprigs and accented with gilt trim, with marks to the base dated 1894-1931. It is accompanied by a scallop edged plate by Rosenthal. The ‘Monbijou’ body is decorated with swags of pink roses and gilt filigree trim. A mark to the base is dated c. 1891-1906. Also included are a pair of condiment shakers by Nippon. They are decorated with intricate hand-painted bands and elaborate jeweled trim, marked to the base. A Limoges creamer and saucer, marked to the base, as well as one plate and a creamer, unmarked, are also included.
Condition
- adhesive residue present to base of creamer and saucer; minor marks, spots of discoloration, and faint surface wear consistent with gentle use.
