1929 "Happy Days" Embossed Die-Cut Advertising Calendar

Item Details

A 1929 embossed die-cut advertising calendar. The thin cardstock piece features the words ‘Happy Days’ die-cut to the top, surrounded with imagery of snow, icicles and poinsettias. The item was issued as an advertising piece in 1928 for E.N. Miller, Ph. G., druggist in Nutter Fort, West Virginia. It features embossed imagery of birds, snow-covered houses, poinsettias and evergreens rendered in hues of fuchsia, green, mauve and cream and accented with silver tone glitter. It includes a small hole to the top for hanging.

Condition

- fraying and tears along edges, with pieces missing to lower left and right edges; toning, fading and foxing to paper; all twelve months present to calendar; item is unframed.
