Semi-Antique Hand-Knotted Persian Rugs
Item Details
Two small hand-knotted Persian wool accent rugs. One is a Sarouk with an alizarin red background with floral medallion to the center, and complex compound border. The rug has cream warp fringe to both ends. The second is attributed to weavers of Heriz, and has an eight-pointed gul to the center with tomato red surround and cream corner spandrels. The rug has a floral major border and cream warp fringe to both ends.
