Collectible Pewter Plates
Item Details
A group of collectible pewter plates. This selection includes three plates. It features one plate with an embossed coat of arms for the Freeman family of England with a banner below, which reads in Latin, ‘Liber et Audax’ or ‘Free and Bold’. This plate is accompanied by two plates with the Great Seal of the United States of America; one embossed for the House of Representative reads, ‘Best Wishes, Congressman and Mrs. Gus Yatron’. These two plates are stamped with the Wilton Armetale pewter touchstones.
Condition
- Freeman plate has heavy wear and discoloration through out; other plates have light scratching and wear consistent with age and use.
