J. Tackman Oil Painting After Norman Rockwell's "Freedom of Worship"
Item Details
An oil painting on canvas of praying figures after Norman Rockwell’s (1894-1978) Freedom of Worship, by an artist signing the work ‘J. Tackman.’ This work takes the composition of 1943 painting and chooses to change the faces and hair of the figures slightly, while still rendering them in the same prayerful postures. The painting is signed toward its lower left corner and is mounted in a gold tone frame with a textile liner and a hanging wire to its verso.

- colors are somewhat faded; light wear to frame.
