A pair of Sumi-e ink paintings of cats by Contemporary Chinese artist Tsun Ming Chmielinski. These paintings depicts a cat rendered with circular forms. These works is signed to the lower left with a red seal. To the verso, is an informative label. Presented in black mats in plastic sleeves.

Tsun Ming Chmielinski is a Chinese artist raised in Hong Kong. Chmielinski moved to the United States in the 1970s and has a BA from the University of Massachusetts and an Master’s degrees in business from Bentley University and Emerson College. She received art training at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Massachusetts College of Art where she studied drawing and painting. Ming currently resides in Boston, Massachusetts. Her work holds influences from Chinese culture, particularly Sumi-e ink wash painting, as well as Western subjects including portraits and still life.
