An oil painting on canvas by artist Art Benson. The piece depicts a Southwestern desert landscape of scrubland vegetation set against distant grey mountains and clear skies, rendered in earth tone hues of green, brown, pink, blue, yellow and red. The work is signed in purple and red paint to the lower left. It is presented without glass in a gold tone wooden and gesso frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

- to Poor; areas of damage to center of painting with chips and paint loss; scattered craquelure, surface wear, toning, scratching and small chips throughout canvas; wear and toning to canvas verso with line of damage running vertically down center; chipping, cracks and scuffing to frame; no backing paper present; damage to frame joints at upper left; toning, scuffing and staining to frame liner.
