1847 Rogers Bros "Remembrance" Silver-Plated Flatware Set

A set of silver-plated flatware by 1847 Rogers Bros. of International Silver Co. This is in the Remembrance pattern, first introduced in 1948, which features floral accented handles with inner beaded borders along the edges. The set includes seven dinner knives, twelve teaspoons, eight place spoons, eight salad forks, eight dinner forks, a master butter knife, and a sugar spoon. Most pieces are marked to the backs ‘1847 Rogers Bros. IS Remembrance’. The set is presented in a wooden flatware chest with brown felt-like interior lining.
Condition
- minor to mild surface wear including marks, scratches, and tarnishing; one teaspoon has damaged bowl edges; chest comes with keys, and lock tested and functional.
