Ink Wash
A collection of artwork by various artists. Included are two research artworks, a watercolor painting of a church and black-and-white linework of two girls, for Hepsibeth and Hepsibah, believed to have been made by children’s book illustrator Virginia Allen Grilley. Also included is a painting of a cowboy being narrowly missed by a pair of bullets, signed ‘S. Leger,’ an ink drawing of a man with closed eyes, and an unsigned figure study of a man with a cigarette, made in pencil and presented under paper matting.

- poor; heavy wear throughout; toning and foxing; creasing to corners.
