A hand-knotted Persian Kerman wool area rug. This short pile rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, azure, sand, and peach. The ivory field features a large central floral medallion along with a scrolling floral wreath-like border, and coordinating ornate spandrels. Framing the field is a broken border with repeated images of flowers and medallions. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges and bound ends, and goes unlabeled.
