Power Loomed Chinese Carved Wool Area Rug

Item Details

A machine loomed and carved Chinese wool area rug. It features a palette of pastel hues of blue, green, beige, brown, pink, lavender and gold with a thick pile. A round medallion of scrollwork and flowers rests in the center with sprays of florals through the field and corner brackets. Florals, leaves and geometric designs fill the borders and the rug is finished with cream fringe on either end. It has been carved on the design lines for a dimensional appearance. Unmarked.
