A hand-knotted and embroidered Baluch wool and goat hair carpet runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of cranberry, indigo, sand, and ivory. The field features four diamond medallions with hooked details and enclosed with partial medallions. Framing the field is a main animal’s head border with a checkered patterned guard border, and embroidered stripes to each end. Finishing this rug are triple overcast selvedges and a natural warp goat hair fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
