Antique Griswold "Standard No. 2" Iron Mailbox

Item Details

An antique Griswold cast metal mail box. The receptacle is a ‘Standard No. 2 Mail Box’, as indicated by the raised lettering on the hinged flap that has a slot in the top. The front features decorative embossed floral motifs and a peep hole with lobed flower cover. The flap is lockable with a hasp. The mailbox retains old black paint.

-retains old paint, some corrosion
-paper residue to back and opening flap, could benefit from cleaning
