Vintage "Kewpies" Triple Folding Chocolate Mold

A vintage ‘kewpies’ figural triple chocolate mold with a groom figure. This piece features a trio of boyish figures, depicted with a top hat in hand and a tuxedo complete with boutonniere. Each figure is affixed to a metal frame, hinged at the top and bottom. This allows the two halves to be locked in place while the mold is filled from the base with liquid chocolate. This piece was likely produced in the mid 20th century, prior to the introduction of stainless steel and plastic molds.
