Vintage Wooden Jewelry Box with Silver-Plated Coin Purse
Item Details
A vintage wooden jewelry box with silver-plated coin purse. The jewelry box has a quarter sawn oak exterior with bead accented trim with a keyhole to the front. The hinged lid opens to a purple felt-like interior lining with jewelry holders. It is presented with a coin purse, featuring a shaped silver-plated exterior with engraved swag and flower design and a personalized engraving to one side. It opens to a brown colored interior with three divided sections and has a chain handle with ring in the center. The purse is stamped along the bottom ‘BP DC’ inside a shield and ‘EPNS’.
Condition
- to fair; mild to moderate surface wear including marks and scratches; key is missing from jewelry box, and some staining on interior lining; some denting and tarnishing on purse; personalized engraving to one side of purse.
