A chalk pastel drawing of blueberries by Tsun Ming Chmielinski (China, Contemporary). This realistic piece features a close-up view of a cluster of blueberries ripening on the vine. The work is signed by hand to the lower left and dated ’09. It is presented under a white mat and glass in a wood frame, wired to hang.

Tsun Ming Chmielinski is a Chinese artist raised in Hong Kong. Chmielinski moved to the United States in the 1970s and has a BA from the University of Massachusetts and a Master’s degree in business from Bentley University and Emerson College. She received art training at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Massachusetts College of Art where she studied drawing and painting. Ming currently resides in Boston, Massachusetts. Her work holds influences from Chinese culture, particularly Sumi-e ink wash painting, as well as Western subjects including portraits and still life.
