Two mid century lithograph prints on paper by listed artist Joseph Patterson Sims (American, 1890-1953). Included in this selection are a 1949 print titled The King of Prussia Inn, which depicts an inn with a figure riding a white horse; it is titled in graphite to the lower left corner and signed and dated to the lower right corner. Also featured is a 1948 print titled The Red Lion Inn Torresdale depicting a large inn with a tall sign to the right; it is titled, signed, and dated in graphite along the bottom margin. Both prints are presented in black wooden frames and white matting under glass.
Condition
- dust present throughout; minor foxing and toning to prints and matting; minor edge wear and scuffing to frames.
