1991 Artist's Proof Etching with Aquatint on Paper "Esperando el Trangüei"

A 1991 artist’s proof etching with aquatint on paper titled Esperando el Trangüei. The monochromatic piece depicts a closeup view of five figures standing closely together with solemn expressions. The print is signed in graphite to the lower right with a signature appearing to read ‘R.A. Torenog’, with a monogram of ‘RMB’ in plate to the lower margin of the image; however, no clear artist attribution could be made. It is additionally titled and noted ‘P/A’ in graphite to the lower left. The work is matted in brown and off-white and presented under glass in a wooden frame with gold tone foliate gesso embellishments to the edges, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- slight toning and fading to print; small chips, scuffing, edge wear, residue and dust to frame.
